Sony has made the very wise decision to purchase Housemarque games, the makers of PS5 exclusive Returnal.  A relatively small studio that have been making outstanding games will now have the backing of a major corporation that should help it realize the visions of bigger games. Returnal has been considered by many PS5 players as the true beginning of this new generation of consoles because of how detailed, smooth and technical marvel to look at and play.  However, the game's difficulty does turn off some people.  Either way, this is a huge win for Sony and gamers.  Are you looking forward to the possibilities of what's next? Microsoft has officially released the first public beta of Windows 11 which it first unveiled on 6/24. If you're daring enough, you can opt-in to receive these early Windows 11 builds through Microsoft's Insider Program.  Here's how to enroll: 1.  Make sure you're running a licensed version of Windows 10 on your device, and that you're an administrator on the device. Register to  join the Windows Insider Program  if you haven't already. Or sign into your Windows Insider account. Microsoft today announced that they are expanding it's gaming cloud service to more countries and upgrading the quality to Series X.  Previously it was only available to Android devices through a native app and on iOS through the web browser.  However, today they announced that the games can be played directly from xbox.com/play from any device and instantly be transported to all of that cloud gaming goodness. The experience will also make a big upgrade starting today.  Previous Xbox cloud games were using custom Xbox One X running in their datacenters but now they've been upgraded to Series X.  This means that Next-Gen graphics and technologies will now be available to subscribers whether they own one or not.  This essentially means that, assuming good internet, your games will look better on your phone or PC than on your Xbox One X/S. During today's special Super Smash Bros. Ultimate stream, Nintendo fully revealed Kazuya, the latest fighter from the Tekken series.  The gameplay style of this new character is actually more akin to Tekken, but fits right in with Smash Bros.  At first glance, it looks like a more robust Ryu with ranged attacks. Kazuya makes the10th fighter released for Smash Bros. Ultimate under the second DLC pass.  While never say never, Sakurai stated that the next and 11th fighter will be the last. That's a lot of post release content, while not all pleased everyone, there's no denying that this is the best post release support that Nintendo has ever provided for one of its games. The fighter will be released tomorrow on 6/29/21.

Nintendo revealed a new amiibo during the Super Smash Brothers stream earlier today.  The stream was focused on the new character, Kazuya from Tekken fighting series, revealed during Nintendo's E3 presentation. While I've stopped the amiibo buying frenzy a while ago, this one looks to be detailed and might be worth picking up.  Nintendo's amiibo quality continues to improve and the prices are reflecting that.  Amiibos started at $12 and are now as much as $15. Blizzard ha anunciado hoy que cross-play llegará a Over Watch 2. Los jugadores de cualquier consola, incluida la PC y Switch, podrán jugar entre ellos. Esta es una buena noticia para la comunidad de jugadores en general, ya que más juegos de terceros se están volviendo más inclusivos independientemente de la consola. En la publicación del video, Aaron Keller continúa afirmando que los jugadores de consola solo podrán jugar con otros jugadores de consola y separados de la PC.   Estan circulando rumores que Activision no revelera la proxima version de Call of Duty durante la semana de E3.  Si no que revelera el proximo mapa de Warzone que sera basado en WWII.  Se especula que en vez de enseñar el juego la proxima semana, sera durante un evento dentro de Warzone, similar a como se hizo el año pasado. Creo que Call of Duty tiene la oportunidad de sacarle el aire a Battlefield 2042 si decide revelar el juego la proxima semana, pero aparentement ellos quieren seguir el mismo paso de Fortnite, donde tratan el juego como una comunidad y revelan su futuro con eventos dentro del juego. Lo mas probable es que Activision quiere tener toda la noticias para ellos el dia que muestren el juego, durante E3 habran muchos juegos de que hablar y Call of Duty tendra mas competencia en la noticias. Que opinan?  Seria mejor ver el juego la proxima semana, o esperar?

La ESA, entidad responsable del E3, ha revelado el calendario completo para la próxima semana. La semana más importante de los videojuegos está por llegar, ¿qué conferencias esperas con más ganas y qué juegos esperas?

Después de muchas liqueos durante varias semanas, EA finalmente ha revelado el avance de Battlefield 2042. Como pueden ver, el tamaño de este nuevo juego se ha ampliado enormemente, con grandes batallas y hasta 128 jugadores para Xbox Series X y 99 jugadores para Playstation 5.  El avance muestra imágenes  del juego y el concepto, pero gameplay no se revelarán hasta el 13 de junio. ¿Cuáles son sus pensamientos sobre la revelación? ¿Puede competir con Call of Duty o forjar su propio camino?
